Default KLX250S Saddle Options?

I recently did a long ride that required a bunch of saddle time, 2 day road bomb to get to the good stuff, and I'm now somewhat confident I have a clue what it feels like to take the first shower in prison.

I'm not looking for 1K day comfort for this critter, but I do need to cover some miles from time to time. Who's tried what, and what has your experience been? I had a seat concepts on the DR, it was... reinforcement of the idea that you get what you pay for. I don't mind paying more...

TIA

Sweet Cheeks are a budget option for occasional long rides. I have some for the KLX, but haven't really used them for long rides yet. Others give a thumbs up. My seat is a Gut's Racing tall seat, which is much better than the stock 2x4. The Sweet Cheeks were ordered to fit the Gut's seat width. And you can fill those 2-litre bottles up with water or other necessary fluids. One member here cut up some camp-mat foam to fit in them.

You may want to just post your first one in the KLX thread.

That's a cool idea, but I'm actually willing to spend more, thinking along the lines of a Corbin.

For simple and cheap, I've heard great feedback from a few on these:

Yes, I have a couple of those. One is on the KLR650 and made a decent improvement. The other is planned for the old Honda 4-trax quad but I don't get on that machine very often now after getting 2wheels. Search the klx250 forum and you'll find several good threads on aftermarket seat options.

I have those coleman seats on my bikes. Not as good as a high dollar seat but well worth the 20 bucks.

The Seat Concepts saddle was probably one of the best accessories I've bought for the bike. You won't regret it.

Had a SC on the DR, didn't do it for me. I was just extended an interesting opportunity from XPC that I'm inclined to go with. Any XPC users here?

OK, so no XPC users.

How about Sargent? Their design is interesting, they use a wider pan. Looks good on paper, anyone here have any butt metrics on this?
