First question, have you ever ridden a motorcycle before? If not, then take the MSF course.
Second question, if you have ridden a bike before, what size was it and when was the last time you rode?
Third question, do you have a death wish?

I'm not trying to discourage from riding, but the 14 is not a good bike for a beginner. VERY POWERFUL.
I've never ridden one, but I know a couple guys who have them. It's relatively docile at lower speeds and RPM's, but it's very quick on the get up and go. Might freak you out. There is a used one at the local Kawi dealer here that a guy bought and traded it in 3 weeks. It was his 2nd bike. He had it about a week, put a Power Commander and Muzzy pipe on it, then went out crapped his pants. The dealer told me he cracked it hard in 2nd, front end just about went to 12 o'clock, slammed back down.
He traded it in the next week for a 600 something.

Start a little smaller, say a used 500, 600 or 650.Learn on it. Ride it for a few months to ayear. It will fall down, either in a parking lot or with you on it.It won't be so painful when it gets banged up. Just think what it would cost to fix the 14 after it went down..

There are a couple of members here who have a 14. Maybe they will chime in. They may agree with me, they may not. What I posted is JMHO.

Thanks KevyzToyfor your advice, im gonna look for a used z-750s or ninja 650r.
The ninja zx-14 just has too much power for a beginner like myself and i would probably end up crashing it
