Default Once warm - starts smoking bad then stops

My 97 zx-6r(F) which is carbed starts and warms up fine. Once its warm is start pouring out smoke and then will shut off and refuse the start up again (runs for a second and then shuts off). I just had the carb cleaned and tuned about 2 weeks before this started happening.

Any ideas what is going on? I'm clueless.

Thanks - justin

Sounds like it's far too rich. Either the choke isn't coming off, or the float heights wrong - easy to foul up if the carb's stripped. If it ran for a couple of weeks OK, then also suspect the float needle valve sticking and allowing the carb to flood.

Anything else is likely to be expensive.
