hahaha, there are no dumb questions. Thought I mentioned that already.

I like to break in a new to you ride in dino oil. Motorcycle rated because of the wet clutch, 10-40. Pull and change the filter with the new oil. Run it, flush the system prolly 20-50 miles, change the filter and oil again. Look at the drained oil and 'read" it as some say. Shavings, clumps, etc. I would prolly change it out using dino oil again for maybe 200 miles after you are happy with the first inspection of the drained oil. I like synthetic oil only after I am comfortable on what the engine is showing after being drained and how the engine is performing.

 

ok thanks. I actually found a couple of places around me that will change the oil and filter for me. So I am gonna go this weekend and get it done. What do you mean by "dino" oil?
