Well I talked to a mechanic and was told that the odo is run off the front wheel and not electronic. Sorry about giving you the wrong info, I was assuming that your cluster was all electronic.
So you should check the cable and if you have a taller tire on the front that may be throwing off the odo as well..

The speed sensor is electronic and is internal to the engine. Sprockets and tire can affect this but not the odo, silverslug was giving you the correct info about the odo sensor.

all speedo's on just about every bike made is offset. the manufacture does this on purpose to keep you out of trouble! around 70-80 mph, I believe the speedo can be off as much as 5mph. at about 180-190 mph, there can be as much as a 15 mph error! I saw somewhere an article about somebody that installed a digital bicycle speedo on their motorcycle. With a bicycle speedo, you just measure the exact diameter of your front tire, install the magnetic sensor, and then you have a 99.9999999% accurate speedo! you also can see how far off your main speedo is.

aight, aight...thanx for the input. i may need to take a pic thou cause i've looked everywhere on the front tire and i don't see so much as a wire running down the fork. my buddys R6 and TT make it pretty easy to see, a black box on the hub isn't hard to miss. i don't understand y kawi has to be difficult . I'll try a few of those odo methods and see what my outcome is.

Also , This is alittle off topic, but i also heard that ninjas 6; 7, and 9's have a habit of craking the frame along the gas tank cause of over powered engines. can someone bust this myth so i won't be scared into sellin my bike.

thanx
