Hello everyone, I hope the summer has been treating you and your bikes well.
I have a question regarding oil pressure tests; I know how to do them but I can't seem to find the correct fittings to attach a pressure gauge to my bike. My bike is a 1982 kz550, so none of the local shops will touch it (it's too old apparently), so I'm on my own. I believe that my threads are 18mm, or maybe 17mm, on the bike. Does anyone know where I can find fittings that will work? I've been to hardware stores, automotive stores, plumbing stores and McMasters.com, but I have yet to find any suitable fittings. I have been told that Kawasaki sells pressure gauges, I've also been told that they are very expensive.
This has been a frusturating endeavor, so if anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.
