2000 zr-7. trying to figure out where the cams need to be for top dead center.and where will the timing marks line up on the cam.sorry for the confusion.thanks again to all!!!

The service manual shows you where the marks will be or should be at TDC. Lets say the chain or sprocket have worn. Would you trust the marks? It is a general assumption. Use your piston as TDC as your base, view the marks for curiousity.
