Default Hesitation

I started the ol' bike up yesterday and took it down the street just to let it run for a while. When I got it up to about 4-5 grand in firstit would kind of miss a little and then continue running fine. I took it back to the garage and put her into neutral and reved it and no miss....so I took it back down the road and it did it a couple times....and then finally quit....I dont know if it was because it was cold out or cuz it sat a couple weeks....maybe carbs dirty plugs bad....only has 6500 on it....any insight would be great thanks

Glad it cleaned up. Generally water in the bowls in cold weather tend to form ice and can cause issues for a spell.

Should just be a screw on the bottom of each bowl you will need to loosen. Buy a foot or two of small rubber line so you can connect it to each nipple of the four bowls. That way you can direct the old gas into a container.

Didn't your carbs have the drain/vent nipples?
