Help!! My bike will not start!
Ok, my dad ran my 06, 636 out of gas. Now that it has a full tank it still says its out of gas and will not start. From what im told the bike does not have a reserve so I am lost as to why it is doing this. If someone could please help me I would appreciate it. Im new to the bike community so all advice would be greatly appreciated.

no reserve on these bikes. hey 2low try turing the key on listen for the fuel pump to prime then turn key off. do that a few times and see if it primes the gas into your injectors that way.
It should be carburated being an 06.
Is there a petcock fuel valve on it? If so, theres a PRI position. That means Prime, it forces the gas to the carbs. just remember to put the valve back to ON after it starts.
If its FI:
It didn't run out of gas, the connection for the fuel system (incl. the guage sensor) to the wire harness is dirty and not making a good connection(it happens). If there was a fuel pump problem, the guage would still read properly. If there was a fuel guage sensor problem, the bike would still run.
Aer-goe:
Both components (pump & sensor) share a common harness, which is connected poorly.
Get some "dielectric grease" and use it on every connector you can find.
