I just purchesed a 2002 zx-6r not 636. the brake light doesn't come on with the hand brake and i really have to give force on the foot brake to luminate it. Are they suppose to luminate w/ the hand brake? if so, what should i be checkin?

Yes it should always come on when you hit either brake. If you can get it to come on by pulling in harder on the brake handle then check the sensor or switch that turns it on. It must be out of adjustment.

Where is it on the front though, I was trying to think about it and for the life of me can't. I may have to drive home and look, it's pissing me off [:@]

also i think that you turn the nut counter-clockwise to make the brake light turn on with less pedel travel and clockwise to turn on with more pedel travel.....if that makes sense
