Default 1990 ZZR250 - Valve nut struggle

hi guys and girls

hoping anyone can offer any advice / suggestions on what I can do to crack the valve adjustment nut loose, so that I can adjust the valve clearance please?

its a 9mm but with a screw and I don't have the offical "valve adjusting screw adjustment tool" $185 for this tool, the 9mm socket I'm using with the wrench feels as though if I force it I'm going to break the nut, the screw, the thread it all of the above. Any advice at all is greatly appreciated.

Default Solved

For those of you who may have the same challenge I managed to use a price of thin pipe with a 9mm manufactured end then attached pliers and was able to drop a screwdriver in to unlock the screw. The locknut although small just required quite a bit of force.

hope this helps anyone else who might be struggling .
