1990 ZZR250 - Valve nut struggle
hi guys and girls hoping anyone can offer any advice / suggestions on what I can do to crack the valve adjustment nut loose, so that I can adjust the valve clearance please? its a 9mm but with a screw and I don't have the offical "valve adjusting screw adjustment tool" $185 for this tool, the 9mm socket I'm using with the wrench feels as though if I force it I'm going to break the nut, the screw, the thread it all of the above. Any advice at all is greatly appreciated. kindest regards David |
Solved
For those of you who may have the same challenge I managed to use a price of thin pipe with a 9mm manufactured end then attached pliers and was able to drop a screwdriver in to unlock the screw. The locknut although small just required quite a bit of force.
