Default RE: 06 6r tank removal

wow i've done it once but here goes.
1. take off rear seat
2. remove plastic from under the front seat, both sides
3. remove rear cowl
4. remove front seat
5. on the middle of the frame you'll see a bolt with a plastic black washer. those have to come off.
6. then remove the bolt in front of the tank
7. once you get all that stuff off you could tilt the tank back by pulling the front end up
8. and there you have it easy access under the tank, now ir you have to take the tank all the way off. well your on your own on that
one... good luck i hope this helped....

Turn your fuel tap to the off position. I am not seeing in the manual where any vacuum will be pulling fuel out. (it is not mentioned)

Should be no vacuum to speak of with the engine off. Welcome to KF!
