anyone with any experience in replacing the valve cover gasket on a 2001 zx12,I could use some help. any tricks or helpful hints? I have the gasket and the 4 sparkplug gaskets, anything else I should replace as long as I have the cover off. what kind of gasket sealent should I use? this is the first time doing this on a bike I cant "see" what I am doing. I changed the sparkplugs this spring, so I do know what a pain working on this bike is...but I love this bike. hope to hear back

Welcome to KF stig and congrats on your ride. Besides having a torque wrench, some dabs of silicone to keep the gasket in place, it is pretty much a cake walk.
