I finished the safety course on the 24th. I had soo much fun and learned alot. However, I froze up and bombed the skills. I couldnt do the figure 8's in the marked area, couldnt E-stop in the right distance, I couldnt shift right. It was so disapointng to have to take time off work to sit a class for 3 days to not pass!

I was just screwin around. I passed. 
The instructor even said that myself and one of the guys were the strong riders of the class. They said that I had the techniques and were enchoraging me to keep increasing my speed thru the skills. They said they knew that I would be able to do it. That was so awesome to hear since I only have like 1 hr of experience. I thought there would be NO way i would be able to do some of the skills on the course, thought maybe they were for the advanced rider course. Turns out that they were for us, and it wasnt so bad. It was so much fun. I would have been glad to take the class even if I hadnt passed.
