Gerbing's G3 12-Volt Heated Gloves
I've had it with getting home at night in freezing temperatures, and not being able to feel my hands![:@] If it's the only thing I'll ever need for cold weather riding, it's heated gloves. So, I dropped $170 on a pair of Gerbing's G3 heated gloves today. Apparently these are the holy grail of heated gloves, so I guess we'll see how they do once I get them.

No, it plugs directly into the motorcycle's power supply. They are supposed to be much warmer than battery powered gloves also.

Just an update....
I received my gloves the other day, and got the wire harness wired in today. I also got my removable heated hand grips by Oxford today! YAY!!! So, after I got home from work, it was about 32 deg. F. What a perfect night for a ride! The first thing I could notice right away was how fast the hand grips warmed up. I'd say it only took 20-30 seconds for them to get nice and toasty. Then, I plugged in the gloves and off I went. The gloves heated up quickly too, although they don't have the same heat intensity as the hand grips had. Riding with both the heated gloves and heated grips felt awesome! The gloves are just warm enough to soothe my hands, while the heated grips are just icing on the cake!
If you live where the climate is cold and crappy, do yourself a favor and buy some heated gear. I guarantee your life will never be the same after having a pair of heated gloves along with the heated grips! Without a doubt, this is one of the best motorcycle investments I have made so far.

Here are some pics:
The switch is mounted to the brake line off the master cylinder. (There was no other place to put it.) Oh, and I haven't tied up the wires yet.
Notice these are removable which I think is a great idea for the summer riding.

dang may as well get a stereo and a reverse gear! lol That looks pretty good though. Did you get the heated seat? Just do not fall asleep while riding it.

haha! No, my *** doesn't get cold enough to warrant a heated seat. Someday, I may go with some heated socks or insoles. But for now, I couldn't be happier with this setup. (Plus, I think my little alternator will start screaming with all the electrical loads!)
