Battery powered Heated gloves

Anyone have any good or bad experiences with Battery powered Heated gloves? Which to stay away from and which have been a success?

all i know is my buddy drives his bike in the 35 degree cali winters with no problem. he swears by them.

Never used them, I went down to 26 degrees with conventional gloves, but no more than 10 miles, was cold as hell.
