Welcome, unform. Not sure on the jets; not familiar with TK carbs. Keihin and Mikuni's are more my flavor. Take a good look at the driveshaft; make sure seals and joints are tight and right.
Glad to have you with us. Post a pic or three of your ride!

Thank you!
The guy that said that an 82's jet set would work on my 83 said that mikuni made tk carbs but like i said im not familiar with this carb either. Ive done carb work its tedious but easy, but if the jet set will actually work then should be just easy you know.
I just want someone to say yes they do ive done that lol.
The jet set runs $125, and im not looking to spend that on a maybe...
I just took the bike out for a 3 and a half hour drive to and from and it did great its running a little hot which is now my new worry but through process of elimination im at the carbs running to lean, meaning new jets lol.
So if you have info on this or know someone that does please let me know
also the air filters the moron had on are screwed and i will have to replace im a big fan of k&n air filters would anyone know the demintions for there flat oval filter it runs $35 has a life time and i only would need two of them they cover 2 carbs each. I had these on my 81 suzuki ans it was truley impressive the difference they helped achieve...
And lastly since the long trip on the bike i have a slight knocking soundin the bottom of the crank case, Not vaulves and not pistons knocking sounds more like somethings moving around a piece of something if anyone has an idea what this could possibly be let me know it might be nothing but better safe than sorry. And on this note there has been no lose of power still starts and still runs so the knocking or my head after such a long day isnt hmm pulling from power or prefomance... Maybe just a tip of a gear had that happen before...
Anyways Thanks again for replying and you welcome to the site!

Read the plugs and pull out your stethoscope to listen for that knock location. You are correct that you are probably running hot due to the lean carb mains and other setpoints.
