Hello I have a 2001 800 vulcan A .It has been a great bike untill lately.A few months ago when I would put it in first gear and let off the clutch it would die .It did this a few times then it was ok .But today I rode it to work and I had some trouble with it but thought it was the cold .It did the same as it has been doing but it finaly took off.I stoped at a gas station got back on and tryed to leave and now every time I let off the clutch it dies.It runs and idles fine in nuteral but dies as soon as I let off the clutch in first .Could someone please help .Thankyou

 

have you checked your clutch adjustment?? welcome to KF

 

neutral gear sensor or kickstand sensor would be what i'd expect but i don't know the vulcans.
