Default Oil Leak / 5 mm machined hole ??

1999 Nomad....I have oil leaking from a machined hole on both cylinders, both holes are located near the power valve. Front cylinder 5 mm hole is located on the head itself next to the fins on front left center and the back 5mm hole is in the cylinder itself next to fins near exhaust flange. What are these holes for? do i need to plug them? I have fixed the stanard rocker PLUG Leak, i am quite sure i have oil come from these holes. Holes do not appear to have threads. Please help!! Major oil leak on front cylinder and blowing all over bike and me, This sucks!!!!!! THANKS for your Help!!!

Do any of these numbers/parts indicate what you are mentioning?

Yes, but pic does not show in detail hole location. I will take photo of hole and post tomorrow, maybe tonight. Thanks for your involvement; I really need to get this fixed. I depend on this for my daily commuter.

the "holes" are drains for the spark plug "wells". I unscrewed both spark plug cups and replaced the leaking o-ring seals-----no more leaks!!
