Default Oil Leak / 5 mm hole, Please Help

1999 Nomad....I have oil leaking from a machined hole on both cylinders, both holes are located near the power valve. Front cylinder 5 mm hole is located on the head itself next to the fins on front left center and the back 5mm hole is in the cylinder itself next to fins near exhaust flange. What are these holes for? do i need to plug them? I have fixed the stanard rocker PLUG Leak, i am quite sure i have oil come from these holes. Holes do not appear to have threads. Please help!! Major oil leak on front cylinder and blowing all over bike and me, This sucks!!!!!! THANKS for your Help!!!

Hornet, I'm not a Nomad guru, but I'll at least take a stab. I'm wondering if these holes were some type of "injection" ports at one time? Nitrous? (Gadz, not on a Nomad.) Maybe external oil cooler lines? Thing is, you say they are not threaded? Could you post a couple pics to help us better identify?

Is the power the same since they are leakin oil? Almost sounds like weep holes for the water jackets which means maybe head gaskets but for some reason its oil? I'd have to see a pic to maybe help ya out.
