Need some advice - 2005 vs 2006 ZZR600
I can buy a new 2005 ZZR600 for $1500 less than a new 2006 ZZR600. Price is important to me but the sales guy for the 2006 model said the bike was completely different. I like speed but am not a track day person (yet). I'v been searching the Internet for differences but can anyone tell me the biggest differences between the 2 bikes. Sounded like they were night and day different but I don't really see it physically looking at the bike (which isn't everything I realize).
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Wanna make the right decision here. It'll be my 3rd Kawasaki.

Honestly it sounds like he's just trying to get you to spend more money there on the bike. For what i can see nothing has changed from the 05 to the 06. He's just trying to get the extra 1200 out of you and into his pocket that's all.

Actually in Canada I think that they are different. The '05 model is the equivalent of the pre -00 Ninja, with the '06 being the 00-02 version. You can check them out here for the new one: 2006 and here for the old one: 2005
In the US they were the same for '05 and '06.

The 05 and 06 U.S. models are the same, but as posted above, the Canadian 06 model is different from the 05. If you live in the states, bike color is the only difference.
