Hey whats up everybody. I just bought a new ninja 650. My first Kawasaki and my second bike, unforutantly its already been dropped. So, are the farrings and cowlings easy to replace on these bikes. Or should I take it to the dealer?

 

welcome to KF. the fairings aren't that hard to replace save ur self the money and diy.

 

Time to look on ebay. Fairings are pretty simple to replace

 

No stealership! Fairing are pretty easy to do- just take your time. The only difficult thing to chnage is the tank- due to the fact you have to remove fuel and try not to spill any. If you have a second pair of hands- the tank is much easier.

Welcome to KF. You can do it! Just take your time and line everything up.

 

Welcome and dont worry about the fairings I have had mine off a number of times. Just take them off one side at a time. AND TAKE YOUR TIME.

 

Oh- make sure you are confortable with your riding skill- then swap the fairings! I remember I tipped my first bike a couple times in dirt- (no damage ) Hahahaha ok,have fun!
