I've had mine up to an indicated 160, it was still pulling. I saw the light one day doing 6th gearroll-ons in a 55 zone. Didn't see the cop behind me. I was going anywhere from 55 to 120+. Cop couldn't keep up, or get me on his radar. I finally slowed down at one point and he caught up and pulled me over. He said he was doing well over 100 just to keep me in sight. I thought I was going to jail that day! It was not funny. Now I just leave it a 1st though 3rd salute and call it a day! Be safe guys!

Got passing in double yellow, careless and wreckless, and endangermint to roadside offical was 1200 bucks to get out of it that worked for a couple of weeks haha

I think it's called maturity??? I don't know if I'm right on this one so someone might have to correct me lol.

I found the first few weeks is a test. You get this machine that is so powerful and it is so new to you. It's only natural to test it.

After awhile you will start appreciating the bike more for its other abilities. When I got mine every straight I was at WOT. A month later going fast in a straight line is eh. The twisties come the next challenge and if your new it will take some time to obtain a good skill level so you will take some sharp twistes quite slow to practice the feel of just leaning / throttle control.

And it helps when you lay it down. Once you bump your head off of asphalt you learn to slow down haha.

hehe wasnt on a bike but it still counts

i maxed out my lumina at 112 on 93 south whilst at canterbury last weekend. we (me, best friend and 2 topless gurlz) were going to burgerking (dont ask) and my bud was like, dude youre selling this and you never even topped it out, thats not much like you. so, being the only car on the highway (2 exits and counting), i looked at him, smiled and reamed the pedal to the floor. about 15seconds later the roar of the engine and all the passing wind drowned out motly crue. i hit 112 and it was still going smooth but the speedo was buried and it was basically redline so i let off and kept it at a steady 95 til exit 16 then i pulled off. the temp gauge was at like 205 but it still puled and cruised perfect. after grabbing a burger we headed back, still the only one on the highway but i kept in the double digits

then we went in to a river to go.. erm.. swimming. and almost lost the car then headed back and stole all the bud left over from the previous party the legals threw and then went and passed out in the 2-person jaquzi.
