Default Gotta love this....

Came across this H2 pic on Kawasaki UK fb page today. This just makes me giggle; I'd love to ride this bike.
Seriously, any of you guys out there who have never ridden an H1 or H2, make SURE it's on your "bucket list." There's nothing quite like it.

HA! little braking and chassis for the power of those gals. That and the middle cylinder needs tuned differently than the outer jugs. Otherwise it will seize on a lean tune. A person just has to love the classics.

In that photo, it LOOKS like the owner has attempted to address some of the shortcomings. Beefier forks, disc brakes, better suspension, and a "real" swingarm. Of course the main "frame" is still the skinny twin tube, but-hey, if you're riding a triple, you GOTTA have some of the flex to give you a thrill, right?? (Is that an air-shifter unit I see on the swingarm pivot frame section?) If given the choice, I would ditch the little silencer cans stuck on the end......hearing those chambers is part of the 2-stroke thrill. I bet a lot of young sport bike guys would get a stop-light acceleration lesson going up against that thing. Sign me up; I love triples....lean forward.....hang on!!

My first bike, at 15 yo with a fresh drivers license, was a used '76 Suz GT380 triple. It was no H1 for sure, but damn was that a fine hooligan bike for a kid. Removed the exhaust baffles and saddlebags right away (yes, saddlebags. The prior owner used it for commuting).

So, if riding an H1 or H2 were on my bucket list, where would I even go to find one? I see in the Wiki that bike was nicknamed "widow maker." Not quite sure I need that yet!

I'd put out a request for anyone near you who knows someone who might own one. Check here on the forum before you go to a larger town. It's worth the search. If you make it to Ohio, let me know...you can ride my H-1.

Very generous offer, Jeff. Thank you.
Can't say I get opportunities to travel distances much, but I will certainly keep that in mind.
