There is no typo, this bike is 300cc. The bike is a '06 KLX250S with a KLX300R cylinder and piston (both bikes share the same motor, they just neck down the 250S to meet CA emissions). The 300R OEM parts were installed at the 500 mile service to bring the bike to 300cc.
Don't waster your money on a slower 250S or a non street legal 300R, have the best of both worlds!
