im looking for a newer kawisaki... something 2000 and up... but i dont really have the cash to pick up a new sparkling shiny bike... where is the best place to buy used bikes or even damaged bikes currently im lookin for a winter project... something that was not in a major wreck but maybe plastic/paint damage or motor damage but not both or major frame damage... i should have been in the market after katrina and gotten a sunk bike that would be great for my cause... any tips would be appreciated

I see a lot of wrecked bikes on eBay.

 

Got my '02 off craigslist for $1700. If I paid upfront, could've got it for $1600, or included the jacket and helmet, but they wouldn't fit anyway.

u try calling a local shop?...i called one by me, and they give me a #s to a few local places..

might be worth a shot!
