If they are cold they can grab another blanket, and if thier too hot they can open a window, although not in the rooms with the thermostat, because that would be counter productive.

im just givin ya a hard time.... just keep the temp at 65, and put elec blankets in each room. lol

Electric blankets? Do they still make them? Remember the 70's? Oh wait you were born in the 80's. Yea that was a good idea until houses started to burn down. We can't have portable heaters here at work.....well we can have ceramic heaters, anyway I'm sure the EH&S (Environmental Health and Safety) from the University would probably frown on electric blankets.

we have the same problem on a larger scale here............
we disconnected vents and blocked them off for rooms that were always too hot.
just put some kind of variable vents like they have for houses- you could adjust each rooms air, and close off the ones that are not in use- this will also let the other rooms heat up faster.

Deej you don't need any kind of electric blanket either.

They also have averaging stats with a couple of remote sensors available deej.

or you could just put the smack down and say deal with it.....lol..... and tell the person who is staying in the room witht he thermostat to not be an idiot and leave the window open. lol
