UNIX OR LENIX
It's not a web browser, and has little to do with web browsing. It is an operating system, and for many things it is better than windows.
If you are stuck with windows and are not able to take the months and years to learn *nix, I would recommend using Firefox as a web browser.

So what are you running FN? I'm not a big fan of Linux myself, but I'll take it over Windows. I prefer FreeBSD Unix. However, these days I like Mac OS X for my desktop, which happens to be FreeBSD based underneath. FreeBSD still runs my mail, web, spam filtering, and firewall, etc.
I have both and linux breaks constantly and its " cool" cause you have to hax to fix it , its super lame and all the drivers are always crashing even if you know what you are doing , its a hassle. UNIX FTW
Run many BSDs, and Linux distros in the past. Linux has been my primary desktop environment for almost half my life now. Kinda sad. Anyway, try something with a "livecd" (where you boot it from the disc drive to test it out) like ubuntu, gentoo, and I think Freebsd may have one now. If it seems like something you'd be interested in (COMPLETELY customizable, no viruses, much more documentation, usability++) then rock it out. If you don't care, get Ubuntu and just use it.
