Vista isn't horrible. I like it quite well. There are some things I like above XP, some others not so much. Just the rearranging of my files like music, I used to arrange them by genre but the folders get pulled out into the large folder so it's just organized by artist. I just use it for web browsing mainly. Sit back on my futon with my wireless keyboard and mouse and using my 40" LCD. It's great!

Yep. Beer and video games! Right now I also have my 360, GameCube, Dreamcast, and PS2 hooked up to the TV as well. Now I just need some more/cheap games. Hopefully get some more this summer at garage sales. Who knows what all systems I'll have.

Paid $500 for the use TV at work, and $40 for the 2-year extended warranty at employee cost, so if anything happens, I can cash it in. Pretty sweet! Figure I'll get a better TV after that 2 years is up.

 

Mac OSX is based on FREEBSD and my son who's 5 his computer is Ubunutu. Start 'em young, start 'em right!

 

I just use XP, gotta have my Directx9 stuff, and its alot easier to pirate....if anyone ever wanted too...

 

Yes FN, if you you're afraid of all those nasty **** viruses, Linux of any distro flavor will keep them at bay.

 

I'm through with Windows. From here on out, I'll be running MAC OSX, and Linux.

 

Macs simply rock! I guess if your into Dodge diesel pickups, Vista would seem pretty revolutionary

 

You can get viruses from internet ****? [&o] oopypants: I guess I better get the real thing then...
