Cool man. get the bike. do it do it... My ZX1000 is usually parked outside also. I have a real nice bike cover that does a good job on her...... If you can't convince your parents, have them call me, and I'll talk some sense into them!!! lol

Well, I mean.. my dad couldn't really stop me from getting one as I'm 20 y/o. But it would be much easier with his approval. He and his g\f think I'm going to end up dead on the side of the road (which I fully understand is a possibility, but I got nothin to lose anyways, might as well have some fun). Since I'm primarily looking at bikes on Ebay, the only place I can find them at decent prices, it would also be easier for him to actually pay for it (and then I pay him back) since I don't have a CC.

That would be cool if you could get the approval. Just point out all the good things. Good mpg, cheap insurance, low cost maintance, easy parking, all these will add up dad, so I can help around the house. I love you dad. You are my superman!! lol

Hopefully you get one bro...

have you taken the motorcycle safety class yet? If not, try convincing him abotu the bike by telling him you will take the class.

He's fine with me taking the class (he has his motorcycle license but never had a bike), he's just against me getting the bike itself.
