Hey everyone i saw a guy yesterday with an R1 and it looked like he had frame sliders on the bike but there was a bar that ran from the sliders under the lower cowling to the other slider. I was just wondering what it was and what it did for the bike if anything. I was thinking it was some type of crash bar or hight way bar like on crusers. Just wondering. Whish i had a pic of it so you could really under stand what i'm talking about.

 

Sounds like a crash cage to me. He must stunt alot. It is basically to protect the fairings and engine from damage during a crash. Did he have fur as well? LOL

 

Yeah i had a site that sold the stunter stuff. It comes in a kit . They also had the wheelie thing similar to notstocks pics of wheelie school.

 

yeah....it's a crash cage to help with the damage..if you dont like'em most set-ups have the option of taking of the bars to leave onle the sliders....
