Punks!!
Well back on topic, my super left the decision up to me, and I told him that the kid is actually a pretty good guy, and was really respectful. I called him on his cell phone and offered him a deal, he doesn't get into trouble, and I don't call his parents, and he comes and works for me this summer helping one of the inmate crews repair the ditch line. They don't have to know why he's helping and I told him this was just between him and me. He was more than enthusiastic about making this go away. I don't know if I mentioned it in my other post, but this is the same kid that a few years ago was messing around with gun powder and blew off his finger and part of his hand. I can't even imagine what he and his parents went through there. And really I can't hold that against him, after all didn't we all play with gun powder when we were 14? I know I did. Man how did we ever survive?

Yea Mercury was child's play when I was a kid.
I found a box full of blasting caps in an old barn that were all green and sweating, its a wonder I am still here to tell the story. However one kid I went to school with (I just saw him in the store the other day) found some blasting caps in the summer of 1979 when we were going into the 10th grade, and when school started we had heard that he blew all the tips of his fingers and a thumb off after messing with those caps. When we saw him he had a bandage wrap on his hand the size of a soccer ball. Yea we somehow made it through but now I worry when my kid just crosses the street.

Usually either I am taking somebody's thread way off topic or I am adding to mine if its already heading that way, but you know, I never get upset if it goes some other direction, its all good, life is too short to worry about the small stuff.
Besides it all seems to wash out in the end right?[8D]
Yea I played with gun powder to. One of my favorite games was to take my compound bow and shoot arrows straightup into the air and see how close they would get to me without hitting me.
