ORIGINAL: shon

This may sound like a weird suggestion but have you tried wearing a kevlar backbrace aka turtle shell? I don't have disc probs but...2 prev fractures in my back and pinched nerves in my neck. When I wear my turtle shell I feel soooooo much better. I know my back and neck KILL me on long rides but this really helps.
No i've never tried it and dont know what it is, helps you neck?. Its not my back im having problems with its, my neck, when im done riding I get headaches and neck aches.

Riding stoned=death trap!!! I got stoned one time or maybe 2x, and I was at this chick's house and I didnt realize I had to ride home. Thank god it was only a 10 min ride, but anyways it was like 40 degrees out, and when I got on my bike I tried to kick start it, haha, I dunno why, not like I ever rode a dirt bike. Then I realized Im a adiot. But nuff said, it was a mistake and I never did it again and I dont even smoke anymore since last friday I got put on probation. need a break anyways. that **** will clog your nogg.

my shoei is pretty light. i dont have any other helmet to compare it to though.

as for a problem, at the end of the dragon trip i found that the tips of 3 fingers on my left hand were kinda numb/tingly. well a week later same thing. now my whole hand does it off and on depending on how i move it. I havent rode since cause PA weather sucks, but i hope it dont affect me. I think i may have to give the Doc a call here. I tthink i may have a pinched nerve. errrrr [:@] Oh well not quite as bad as u but thats my story.

My hands got numb when I first started riding, its just due to riding for 2+ hrs, your fingers get dumb, but if you had a pinched nerve, you prolly would have some tingling sensation running down your arm, not at the tips of the fingers. You most likely are ok and just need to give your fingera a break. My cousin is from PA. He lives or lived in Yardley. He owns a car dealership off Broadway in downtown Philly I think. Its called B&H auto I think. Everythign is I think lol. He has a badass Z06, also he has a C5 and an Escalade on 22s. I drove his C5 in the day time, **** hauls ***. But at night it was snowing, so its impossibe to grip in dat biotch. Snowballs are cool! ONly seen snow 3x! FL in da house!

Maybe you can try and see a chiropractor... I use me left leg a lot more than my right and it kicks my back out of wack, which causes a pain in my left shoulder. So, once a month, CRACK, and all is better. It helps a lot. $25 bucks per session. Might give it a try. Every bone in your body is connected to your back in one way or another. If that doesn't help, try the turtle shell and a Shoei helmet.... Not sure which helmet is the lightest, but my HJC is a heavy dog, and my buddies Shoei is light, and another friend has an Apex, and it's lighter than mine....
