Default The correct bear repellant for you.

Well, here it is Bro. This is what you need. It is the Ruger 454 Super Redhawk Alaskan with a three inch barrel. Easy to pack, and will knock a grizzly's di*k in the dirt.

The folks at Ruger have really cut the Super Redhawk down to size with the Alaskan version. The Alaskan (top) is not that much larger than Ruger's classic Service Six .357 service revolver (bottom).

You've seen my gun right?

Ruger
Super
Redhawk
7.5 inch barrel with a scope. However I checked into it and pistols are not allowed to be brought across the border. But apparently you can bring a shorty shotgun.

Sounds like a good time. Are you going by yourself or do you have a buddy going with you?

Yea me and two other guys maybe a couple more tagalongs at the last minute. Oh and we are taking a shotgun, short barrel with a folding stock, I'll post a picture in the ride report. I may actually post the report on the ADV site and link it here since they don't have a max number of pics per post.

So far its

2 each 2006 KLX's
1 each 2007 DRZ 400
