She trusts them, its just a house rule, like taking off your jacket, leaving your shoes in the foyer, no hats in the house and such. No reason to carry in the pad .... everyone knows where the weapons for quick deployment are stashed if the unlikely need should arise.

Besides, most of our gatherings involve alcohol.....no all.

Footnote: If you stay on the patio or yard during barbq...carry all you want, and yes you are allowed to come in and pee without losing your weapon.

 

Oh ya srobak, getting caught in the house with a hat on is frowned upon by my mom much more than a weapon.
