Default Need advice!!!

I have been wanting an enduro style bike for awhile now and found a guy that wants to trade a 2007 KLX250 with 6000km on it to my 2004 Honda Rancher 350 that is in great shape. What I would like to know is...is this a good bike? He says it runs perfect and it looks good. Is that a lot of miles for the KLX. Does this bike perform well? I would be riding it to work and trail riding also. Please give any advice and can anyone tell me what that bike is worth?

I think Deej might be able to help with this. I don't know anything about enduro or dirt bikes and I know he does.

The KLX is a good ride from what I hear, as long as it was taken care of I say go for it, but then again I have no idea what your quad is worth.

Well as opinions go, you will get as many as you will in a tire or oil thread. That being said, I love my KLX, although as of late I've been neglecting mine since I bought the Honda ST 1300. Hopefully that will change with the weather here although we got snow this morning, sheesh! Anyway I digress...The KLX is a solid machine, with minimal maintenance issues. Treat it right and it will outlast most bikes out there. 6000 miles is not a lot really considering I've read where some of these bike have 50,000 or more! I have 15,000 on my bike and after the jetting and pipe, the bike rocks!...even with my fat butt on it.
