Default My Second home burned down... :(

Even though its been empty for 15 years, and was full of Norwegian Rats, I still have fond memories of the old theater that I went to nearly every Friday night growing up. I saw Westworld, Dirty Harry, Jaws, Star Wars and John Waynes Last movie, The Shootist and many many more movies. Back then it was a double feature for 30 cents, and then it went up to 50 cents and we still complained. Small popcorn was 10 cents. Ok I better stop, I'm starting to sound like my grandpa...

Here is a picture from my old high school annual. 1982....look what was playing.

Sure it was in bad shape before, but its still sad to see something disappear. First my old high school a couple of months ago, and now this.

it's worse when they knock something down to just build a block of flats.
we had lovely historic docks around here looks like crap now, a designer outlet that is empty most days.

Some of the old theaters were pretty cool. We went to an old theater in Aberdeen a few years ago. It still had a balcony and probably looked like it did 50 years ago. Of course we didn't throw any popcorn on anyone below.
