Default More about the niner?

well to introduce myself a little better I'm 39
from WV.....married w/kids
I work as a Electrical Engineer for a fuel systems company...(no I dont get gas deals)

I've been in the bike life since I was 8 with a very powerful Sears 3.5 mini-bike...

heres some more of me and my toy....(ITS FOR SALE)...but I still cant post there...

heres some when I took the 9 down this past winter to do some mods and service.......
took it down to frame and motor.....
decals were faded from the sun...so replaced
fluids all changed....brake/radiator/oil
all new pads
plugs
jet kit
K&N filter
Jardine pipe
PPowers

this is my bike lift I built...works awesome!

Only one way to keep an antique like that running and hanging with the new bikes... rip it apart every winter and go over it with a toothbrush.

For all it's bulk (473 lbs dry), it being half again as wide as a ZX10 or an R1, and the fact it is carbed, not to mention putting my fat *** on the bike... it has no problems hanging with the lightweight screamers through the hard twists. In fact - probably the best technical run I ever had on the bike was when I added yet another 140lbs in the form of a passenger who was quite capable as a passenger, and ripped through my favorite set of twists out here. Oddly enough - while it required a great deal of muscling - the bike NEVER felt better balanced or more planted to the pavement. It was AWESOME.

Scraped both pegs and tore the chicken strips off the FRONT tire that day (Dunlop Q)
