u sure the thermostat didnt go? Usually water pumps just start leaking... should be an easy fix... id say 150 ish bucks

and a pinion bearing??? Thats odd....I have never had a pinion bearing go out.

now that i think about it harder im considered its the thermo... it only overheats when im idleing, if i stay over 40mph the temps at a constant 210.

yeah, it didnt "go" yet, it just howls when you give it gas... its on its way out. my auto sys teacher said it would only be $80-100 and a day or 2 to fix that. wit the thermo, pinion and a full synthetic oil change its gonna run close to $180/200... we get like a 50% discount at school cus were an edcuational facility
