i can't figure how to remove the main seat on my 95 zx -9 to get to the battery. so i await your feedback

I have no idea on that 9..so I'm just guessing here until someone corrects me...

You might need to pull each side panel off, the ones right below the seat..then under that, there should be 1 screw on each side...take the screws out of the seat mount, and the seat should lift right up..

 

NO NO NO dont do that. That yr 9 requires u to take off the front fairing then remove your triple tree nut and lower your forks down 2 inches so you can remove the muzzy clutch. Then do what bigrig tells ya. You should be lucky i was here to save your from not waisting time.

I can,t help my ZX7 has race body, on my 1 I just have to fift the 2 back corners of the seat, they flex, and there are 2 hex boltz under the corners.
