I HAVE MY BIKE
Well the other day picked up my bike. Well i get there expecting my bike to start and i can ride it home. Well no. im there for 20 min trying to start the ****, all while the mechanic keeps walking by seeing me trying to start it. i finally go up to the ******* and say is the bike gonna start ,, he says no i told you this. Its sucking in too much air. i tried the filters but still dint work. the only way its gonna start is if you put your hand over the carbs. well i go home get the trailor and come back... well i relized that the orginal airbox and carb boots arnt even put together right. so i start to work on it. i get the carbs and the air box back together properly,(when i brought it in the carb boots were too warped and dint sit completly on the carbs) and it was running when i brought it in but wasnt running the way it was the carbs were all gunked up. I got the carbs back on there as they were when i brought teh biek in there. well i almost had it started the muffler burpped but the battery wasnt juieced enought to start it. That shop can go to hell for all i care

RE: I HAVE MY BIKE
Last yearI took my r6 to get the carbs sync'd at the lcoal dealership, and it was a HUGE mistake
I got it back several days later, and I ran like garbage. I rode it home and it cut out several times on the way home and it wouldn't rev past 3k
I took it back to the shop, and they kept it 2 weeks.... Still never ran as good as when I took it in...
That tought me 2 things... preventitive maintenence is BS, and that shop will never work on my bike again!
My friend took his 600r to get a new rear tire put on... they didn't mount the tire properly and the next day his tire was flat!
I hope they fired the morons that were working there....

RE: I HAVE MY BIKE
These are all the reasons I have never taken my bike anywhere to have it worked on.
The small price for a repair manual pays for itself many times over when you can do it all yourself.
