How do I know which bike I have 636R or 636RR

I got an 04 636 off an auction, fixed it up, but im not sure which one is it, it had no stickers on it. It did say something like 636 B1 on the bill of sale. Can I tell by the vin number?

i think the 636 is a 6R and the 600 is an RR on the 2005 models, but im not sure either. i have a 636 and it says 6R.

enter your vin and see what info it gives you.

when you register the bike at the dvm, they could check by running the vin. or if you have a friend thats a cop, you could ask that person to run it for you....

If you dont use that site Notstock gave you, just call a kawasaki dealership. I have people call me at my dealership and have no idea what they have, so I just get them to find the VIN so I can know what to get parts for without guessing. Dealerships shouldnt have a problem helping you find what you have. It takes 1 minute maybe.
