Go with a basic design. If you change rides or paint you bike it wont match anymore.
I wear solid black leathers and my Helmet kind of matches. You never know what might change down the road

Well my favorite color is blue.. so I'd probably stick with blue bikes.. (especially if they end up being Yam's eventually). But I mean I'm not crazy here right? Most people have matching gear?

hey bro, i have matching gear. there's nothing wrong with it.. check my gallery.. there's alot of people with matching gear. i hear you with the blue. blue bike, blue gear.... ride safe bro..

I thought it would be a little ostenatious having my gear match my bike. Kawi Green is best taken in moderation. That, and I purchased my gear before my bike so I wasn't sure what color I was going to end up with. I've got black leather pants from alpinestars (their "twin" pant), a nice black and grey Alpinestarts "spinner" jacket, and a black, grey, and silver KBC helmet. All very sharp looking and non bike specific. If I ever upgrade to a new bike that isn't geen, I won't have to get all new gear.

Well my bike is purple - I could not find anything to match my bike. I have a black and silver/grey jacket (pics in my gallery), black gloves and a black/silver/white helmet (unfortunately don't have pants yet, but will soon).
There is nothing wrong with matching your gear to your bike, but if you ever get a different colored bike, your gear probably won't match (depending on colors, imagine a orange 636 with kawi green gear!!!!!! yuck!)
