Apology accepted. Just don't lump all of us in the ******* category....notall of us are bad. I would ask for the tape out of his camera in his car....that might show that you didn't make any agressive gestures nor offer any aggressive body language toward the officer thus negating his "reason" for putting you at gun point which will go farther in your complaint.As far as the ticket is concerned....if I read correctly you didn't have eye protection on....no matter what state you're in they all require eye protection butmay not require a helmet. In Arkansas for instance...if you are 21 or older you do not have to have a helmet on....but you must have eye protection on at all times during operation of a motorcycle.Notice it says eye PROTECTION....thisis to ensure that if a bug hits you in the face...say the EYE area... you can maintain control of the vehicle. If you didn't have eye protection on....I wouldn't fight the ticket (if that is what the ticket is for)...your gonna lose and have to pay court costs on top of the ticket....however I would damn sure keep up with what is happening with the complaint you filed.....call and check on it...until it is resolved.

sometimes i put my mask up on a hot day at a light, and forget to put it back down until a few hundred yards later. but when it's hot i normally crack it three of four notchest so it is down enough to not get busted. 76 bucks is a bit much for such a violation though

I never put the screws to someone who didn't deserve it. For instance the guy that pulled out in front of me...while in my patrol car...I had to lock it up and stopped about 4 inches shy of his driver door........and thenwanted to know why I pulled him over...hmmmm I wonder??? He had fictitious tags (tags belonged on his sisters truck),which had a bad year sticker on it (evidence of false registration), no insurance AND a suspended DL.....hmm now why would I give him a ticket....really?!?! Oh and any violationin Jacksonville was 125.00 minimum....so 76 is a cake walk.
