Default Generator Info?

Need help in deciding what generator to buy, mostly wattage size.

I will need to power a small freezer 15 amps
3 other electrical appliances 2 - 10 amp and 1 - 2 amps

The 2 - 10 amp units will be going on and off a lot.

Any other info to help me decide would be great as well.

since the generators are rated on their potential output - size it based onthe maximum you see running at once.

so figure figure 45 amps x 120 volts (i assume all the appliances you mentioned are 110-120 volt applications)
= 5400

of course the exact number you said would have been 37 amp = 4440 so 4500..

I agree with KB, you need to allow for a little overage anyway.
