Garmin SatNav mount problem

Garmin SatNav mount problem
I've recently bought a ZX10r and love it to bits. Its aggressive and very quick! Awesome!
but...
I like having my garmin satnav (which was previously mounted on my old bike a ZX6r) and I'm having dramas trying to fit it to my new bike! Theres NOWHERE at all to fit it. Due to the compact and streamlined design compared to my ZX6r it has no room!
The steering damper stops it being mounted on the centre point, and the fairing design stops it being fitted on either side of handle grips!
If anyone else has had the same drama and found a solution please let me know!

Call me "old school." I have a Highland diving compass on the left sleeve of my "long distance" jacket (Scorpion XDR Commander.) Go to Scuba.com. About 70 bucks for the bungee cord version. Not high tech, but glows in the dark and tells you all you need to know. About 3" in diameter and pretty bullet-proof; unlike a Garmin!

Here is an example of a 2005 bike, you can mount it on your clutch bolts.
