Soon the session
was over and I pulled back
into the pits to make some
small adjustments I noticed were needed.
The first thing that
had to be done was to trim
my eyebrow hair to keep
it out of my eyes. This is
a common problem as we
get older. The second thing
that had to be addressed was to duct
tape my glasses (bifocals) to my forehead
to keep them from vibrating and
moving around under acceleration and
braking—I had felt like Mr. Magoo.

hahaha, my bifocals do not fit in my helmet, and using contacts that flutter when popping up from behind the bubble makes it a Magoo moment as well. But the duct tape and eyebrow fixes were priceless. deej should appreciate this thread.
