Sup, just wondering why they started making the pipes on the zx6rs on the right side again from the 05 . Isnt it better, more aero under the seat? Are there mod kits to convert your side exhaust to under your seat? total noob here

 

hmm, wasn't it the 08 era where the side exhaust hit up again?

Pros...tucked in position under the cowl keeping the heat in the exhaust and hitting the swirl pattern in the vacuum area/pocket

Cons...extra weight up high in the CG and to the bike.
heat frying the tail section electronics...ie puter a/f boxes

Just my opinion at the moment, and not verified or proven by me.

More feedback would be appreciated.
