My small cars have been a Volkswagen Beetle and a ford festiva. I don't know if my mustang really counts as a "small car".

 

The Fox Body Mustangs are pretty small.

 

Much smaller than a 3rd gen camaro! Those cars were tanks!

 

Yeah. I had a second gen Camaro. The closest thing I could compare it to is driving a speed boat. The nose was long as hell, and it slid around a lot in the rear end.

 

In a way, it's obvious why the Japanese cars started outselling the domestics. People wanted good handling cars, but just didn't know it yet.

 

That and good gas mileage. That's what made them so popular in the first place. I can't even afford to drive my car, not with the way gas prices are. That's why I got back into motorcycles in the first place. Now I just have the Muskrat for drag strip use.

yea so anyone know if it would it would be at all practical to pull the auto and install a manual? cause to be honest i would prefer to have manual anyway....
